Compasses Engineering & Project Development, part of CompassesWorld, is a magazine that aims to illustrate and disseminate the most interesting and innovative engineering projects under construction or recently completed at an international level. The main objective is to enhance the contribution of the various actors who contribute to engineering projects that currently stand out in the world for their innovative strength and for the use of the most advanced technological systems. The main focus is dedicated to civil engineering, which remains the leading sector, but gradually its gaze to all the other fields of engineering with a more innovative character.
Attention is paid to the Middle East, a geographical area in tumultuous growth where there is currently the highest concentration of engineering.
The different projects are illustrated starting from a robust iconographic apparatus, such as to allow the reader to have a plastic vision of what is being made, of how the technical details become tangible reality. The high-quality images are accompanied by data sheets and indepth analyses that: illustrate the concrete execution of the engineering work on site; they tell the story of individual projects through plans, elevations and sections, construction details; illustrate the use of highly innovative materials and systems. If the images and details of the individual projects represent the heart of the magazine, the more journalistic part develops around them with editorials, interviews with the protagonists, in-depth spaces dedicated to the activity of the design studios, products and their applications, and the most significant news on the latest technological and design developments in the sector at an international level.
